Winery Mikić

In 2017, Dejan Mikić Winery from Negotinska Krajina, an almost unknown winery, made a big surprise at the famous AWC competition in Vienna by winning gold and three silver medals, including the one for Crna Tamjanika wine. Interesting for the production of very high-quality dry and semi-dry wine from a rare and autochthonous variety, with a vineyard on the border of Serbia, Bulgaria, and Romania and a unique principle of educational wine tourism that will start in the spring of 2022, it represents an almost undiscovered gem of the famous wine-growing region.

The winery capacity of about 150 thousand liters, while the current production reaches about a third of that amount. In the barrique cellar, mostly red wine is stored in barrels, while the next step will probably be the barrification of white varieties, primarily in Serbian oak.
